A Brand New Tool To Create Your Own Dildo

The best sex toys can be pricey, some top notch dildos even cost as much as $150, and only about a tenth of that cost is for the actual materials used.

So, of course I was excited when I found this free dildo designer sextoycollective.com/sculptor that lets people design and 3D print their own custom dildos.  With a bit of work, I made a dildo for $10, but even if you don’t want to print your dildo, who doesn’t love just drawing penis shaped objects from time to time. The ‘Dildo-Sculptor’ as it’s called, lets me do that, and doodle dildos to my hearts content. It’s made up of these main sections:

The 3D section lets you view your final dildo in all its glory.  You can rotate it by clicking and dragging to get a glimpse of it from every angle, or zoom using a mouse wheel to see it in detail.

2D Section – this is where most of the magic happens.  By dragging, adding, and subtracting the different points you get a new shape for your pointy friend.

FX – This is where I spent a lot of time tuning and tweaking.  You can add waves, spirals, twists, bumps, and bends.  Each one has a bunch of sliders that let you control the amount and area of the effect

Stats – Here you can see the height, volume, width, and cost of your dildo.  It’s eye-opening to see that a butt plug similar to what I bought in the store for $40, only costs about $3 to make in silicone costs.

Publish – They have a couple different ways to get your dildo out into the world.  You can download it as a file to your computer, save it to the gallery, or download a .STL file which lets you 3D print it.

Gallery – The gallery is where you can post your toy and see everyone else’s.  It’s kinda like a dildo making contest essentially, and its pretty ridiculous to see what people come up, like the ‘Space Alligator’ submitted by someone named ‘alig’, Because, who wouldn’t want to hook up with a space alligator?

Actually printing your dildo

The dildo-sculptor has a little guide about how to make your dildo get physical, something you can actually hold in your hand and stuff in your hole.  If you have a 3D printer, you already know what to do, just export the .STL file, put it into your machine, and start dildo-lizing your masterpiece.

If you don’t have a 3D printer, it’s actually just as easy if not easier.  There’s tons of sites who’s entire business revolves around 3D printing your .STL files and mailing them to you.  By googling ‘online 3d printing service’ you’ll get a ton of options.

For my dildos I used 3dhubs.com and it ended up costing $40 to print 4 dildos.  The smaller it is the less you’ll pay, some butt plugs are as low as $3 to print, but the sites still require you to make a minimum order to make sure it’s worth their time to set up the machines.

Molding it and starting your dildo empire

Once your dildo is in physical form, it’s still not necessarily something you want to put inside you, it’ll be rough and made of hard plastic.  Now is the time to turn it into a soft realistic and penis-like form, you have to cast it into silicone.

This is the most difficult step of all and will take a bit of practice.  You can get started by watching some youtube tutorials like these on how to cast silicone:

Essentially you’ll sand down your 3D print until it’s nice and smooth. Then surround it by silicone so that you create a cavity of your dildo shape.  You can then use that cavity, or mold, to make more silicone dildos again and again!
