In December, when I was still on vacation, I asked myself what I would do during this time. Since my friend also had to take days off, we were sitting in the same boat. We quickly agreed that we didn’t just want to spend the time on the couch in the evening watching TV, but wanted to get out again before the turn of the year.
For this reason, I searched the internet for short-term destinations. First of all, I limited myself to destinations in Germany, as I was sure that I would not find any cheap short trips abroad at this time of year. However, after my girlfriend had expressed the wish several times to enjoy the sun again, I limited my search a little.
The result surprised me quite a bit! I found what I was looking for on a website that points to cheap flights from various airlines at short notice. After initial distrust and a little research, I found out that the unoccupied seats in airplanes are offered by the airlines even at uneconomical prices, so that these do not remain empty.
Thus, our destination fell on a 4 days short break to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. We paid only 37 € per person for the return flight. The booking of the flight took place afterwards over the linked offer of the travel offered and we could save a lot of money with our short vacation.
Since then I have been looking at this page from time to time. The good thing is that the offers published there are confirmed by the community. Finally, one week after booking, my girlfriend and I could start our 4 days holiday to Las Palmas. After this experience I can only make a clear recommendation for various cheap flight comparison portals!
