The French site Actugamer reported the news which is a reliable source. Besides, the site has previously predicted that Blizzard would announce Diablo 4 and Over Watch 2. Hence, the rumour is just as good.

Actugamer has stated that Blizzard would call the re-master of Diablo 2 as Diablo 2: Resurrected. The name already gives us the chills. It is the perfect name for a game many of us grew up playing. The game is predicted to release by the last quarter of this year during the holidays. Since Activision is releasing the new Call of Duty, Diablo 2 re-mastered seems like a good idea for Blizzard considering just how popular the game still is.
